Connect Pixieset to Shift so you can merge all your web apps into your browser
Download ShiftWhat is Pixieset?
Pixieset is a web-based platform for photographers that combines client galleries, print and digital sales, website creation, photo editing, and studio management. Photographers can create password- or PIN-protected galleries, collect client favorites and proof selections, deliver digital files, and sell prints and other products through an integrated Store.
Pixieset Studio Manager provides tools for bookings, contracts, invoices, questionnaires, and other client-management tasks. Its Store supports customizable price sheets and either Automatic Fulfillment through supported print labs or Self Fulfillment for orders handled by the photographer. Pixieset also offers editing and workflow features such as Photo Editor and AI-assisted culling, with availability depending on the current product and subscription. Features such as Personalized Product Previews are configured through supported Store and gallery workflows when available for the account.
How Pixieset works in Shift
Add Pixieset from the Shift App Directory to give it a dedicated app tile in the Shift sidebar. You can then create a Space that groups Pixieset with the email, calendar, payment, cloud-storage, or editing tools used for a particular studio workflow.
For example, create a Space for client delivery with Pixieset, Gmail, and your calendar. Open the client's Collection to review favorites or proof selections, keep the related email alongside it using a side-by-side view, and move into Pixieset Photo Editor when images need additional editing before delivery. For studio administration, keep Studio Manager next to email or calendar while reviewing bookings, questionnaires, contracts, and invoices.
For print sales, open the Pixieset Store and Orders area alongside your payment or accounting tools when reviewing purchases. Price sheets and product settings are managed through Pixieset's Store configuration, while Automatic Fulfillment can be configured for supported lab products when you want eligible orders routed to a partnered print lab. Self Fulfillment can be used when your studio handles the order separately.
Shift's multi-account functionality can keep separate Pixieset accounts signed in when you manage more than one studio or business environment. Spaces can separate client delivery, studio administration, and Store workflows, while Focus Mode can limit the visible workspace to the current task. Session persistence keeps supported signed-in sessions available after restarting Shift so you can return to the same Pixieset account and related apps.

FAQ
1. What happens to my Pixieset account if I cancel or downgrade my subscription?
Canceling a paid subscription can change the storage, features, and other limits available to the account after the paid period ends. Before downgrading, review Pixieset's current cancellation and downgrade documentation and keep separate backups of original photographs and other files you need to retain.
2. Can photographers tell if someone takes a screenshot on Pixieset?
Pixieset does not provide a standard screenshot notification that tells the photographer when a viewer captures a screenshot of a gallery. Gallery owners can instead use Pixieset's available download, password, PIN, and other access controls to manage how clients interact with delivered images.
3. How do I create pricing for prints and products in Pixieset?
Pixieset uses price sheets to control the products and pricing offered through a Store. Photographers can configure a price sheet, select available products and supported labs, set retail pricing, and assign the appropriate price sheet to their gallery or Store workflow. The available products and fulfillment options depend on the lab, region, and current Pixieset configuration.
4. What fees does Pixieset charge on sales?
Fees depend on the Pixieset product, subscription, payment method, and current pricing terms. Payment-processing fees from the applicable processor, such as Stripe or PayPal, may still apply even when an additional Pixieset sales commission does not. Check Pixieset's current Store and Payments pricing documentation for the fees that apply to your account before setting product prices.
5. Can I use multiple Pixieset accounts in Shift?
Yes. Shift's multi-account functionality can keep separate Pixieset accounts signed in simultaneously. You can organize studio, personal, or other Pixieset accounts into separate Spaces with the corresponding email, calendar, payment, and productivity apps.
6. Does Pixieset support automatic print-lab fulfillment?
Yes. Pixieset supports Automatic Fulfillment for eligible products through supported print labs. When configured in the Store, qualifying customer orders can be submitted to the selected lab for production and shipping. Available labs, products, shipping options, and fulfillment settings depend on the photographer's location and current Pixieset configuration.
