Some of your most-used apps include Google Maps, Zoom, Duolingo, and Hotels.com, and you own way too many plug-in adaptors. You’re either already living the digital nomad life or looking for an opportunity to try it out (?).

The job

As the name suggests, a digital nomad is someone who uses technology to work remotely while traveling and living in different locations. Our Chief Nomad Officer will receive compensation of up to $10,000 for travel expenses like plane tickets and hotels. In exchange, you’ll create content to show the world the power of Shift.

• Be a power user: for 30 days, use Shift to power your CNO lifestyle. Regularly share the power of Shift with your audience online via social media and the Shift blog. Inspire other digital nomads and publish your best tips and tricks for juggling time zones and managing work and life from afar.  
• Curate the ultimate guide to being a Digital Nomad that will live as a resource on shift.com for other fellow adventurers.
• Build community: Connect with other digital nomads, share your knowledge and expertise, and engage with online and offline communities.
• Document your experience: Share your thoughts, experiences, and learnings throughout your time as Shift’s Chief Nomad Officer. Regularly post stories, film reels, and vlog your adventures for us to share on social media.

Requirements

• You love being in front of the camera and have a passion for digital storytelling. 
• You feel comfortable creating and editing short and long-form video, as well as expressing your thoughts through blog writing.
• A public and active social media presence on Instagram and TikTok. 
• A valid passport and any other required travel documentation.

How to apply

Publish a 60-second video to TikTok, Instagram, or both, detailing why you’d make the perfect Chief Nomad Officer by answering the following questions:

• Why do you want to be Shift’s Chief Nomad Officer?
• How do you stay organized and productive while traveling?
• Where do you want to travel and why?

 Make sure to tag @shift_browser on Instagram and/or @shiftbrowser on TikTok and use the hashtag #ShiftCNO. The application deadline is September 20, 2024 at 5pm EST, and the adventure begins Oct. 7!
