Well 2018, it is a wrap.
In honor of the year coming to a close, we’re throwing it back to when the year was new, and Shift was much different than it is now. It was a simpler time, with only 24 apps and two extensions. Cut to December 2018, and things get a bit more (app)ealing. ;)
In the span of one year, we have increased our app feature integration with almost 500 new additions to the Apps Directory.
For the first half of the year, Slack held the coveted top spot in our library. But, as we continued to add more apps, we saw Facebook Messenger slowly overtaking Slack as #1.
2018 in Numbers
As you might have guessed by now, we’re total data nerds here at Shift. We enjoy taking a deep dive into the data to uncover insights and make better decisions. This year, more than ever, we have seen our community continue to grow and evolve. Most importantly, we have seen a rise in overall productivity and engagement, and we are honored to be at the center of your workday.

Most of us here at Shift manage a ton of different app accounts, but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t shocked by this one.
